Esta reflexión no es sobre Manny Manuel. Es sobre la ausencia de solidaridad en Puerto Rico y la amplia falta de educación sobre el asunto de los crímenes de odio. Esta reflexión la hago en respuesta a el trato voyerista y amarillista que la prensa corporativa dio a la noticia de que Manny Manuel fue hallado, golpeado, en Santurce. Y los comentarios claramente homófobos y despectivos de gente desde dentro y fuera de la comunidad LGBT.
