Un hermano hace un apasionado reclamo de solidaridad a sus hermanas al descubrir que en sus hogares se vé el programa homofóbico de Kobbo Santarrosa quien a menudo insulta, desprecia y humilla las comunidades LGBT desde su programa televisado.

“White folks think that dark horses ride best.” This is what an African American historian colleague once told me was his reason for maintaining a cool and calculated emotional distance from his undergrad and graduate students at the various elite institutions he’s taught over the years in his distinguished career. On a recent Sunday, those words echoed in my mind as I watched the various sections of the American punditocracy expound upon President Obama’s insufficient emotive performance….

“Esta clase de legislación [sobre crímenes de odio] le da poder único al Departamento de Justicia para determinar qué es un crimen de odio. Me pregunto, ¿desde cuándo el Departamento de Justicia es nuestro amigo?
